Winter!

We have been learning about winter since we got back from the Christmas holidays. We made cold pictures -using  a ruler to mark out the papers, panting using whites, greys, silvers and blues. Finally, we made marks using dots, lines zig zags and circles using marker pens.
We had a big block of ice - it felf so cold and smooth. When we looked closely we could see lines inside it. We tried to break it - but it was hard. We then put on safety goggles and got hammer s we could try and break it - what hard work!
